Motorcycle Man

Here is Owen on his new bike that Jeff bought him. (It was about a month ago and this picture was taken right before easter.) Owen calls it his motorcycle and even though it's a tricycle he makes such cool motor sounds it belongs in the motorcycle category. For those of you who've been to our place he loves to ride from our back around the sidewalk to the front door. He goes back and forth all day. I keep my ears open to make sure I can hear where he is. I just don't want him to pull a "Lizzy" and have someone tell me they found him halfway to Hershey Park. Also his face is so much better. I can hardly tell it was hurt!

Party Party!

For Dinner we went to the park and grilled chicken and made tostados. We played around and enjoyed the 80 degree weather. Here is Owen on the bridge.

Owen got a good shot of us.

Jeff Opening his present.

Wow Owen is posing for a picture with me!

Blowing up balloons

Happy Birthday!

I made Jeff a German chocloate cake. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it because he loved it.

Super Skid

Owen fell in the parking lot after church. He was pushing on Jeff who suddenly moved so when he fell the only thing to catch him was his face. It was pretty tramatic, but we still had a lot of fun having dinner at our friends house. He kept telling everyone "I bonka my nose...on the street."

Michigan

Here are some pictures from our trip up to Michigan to see Laurissa. They're a little small so click on them for a better look.

Here are the two cute kids who had to ride back seat the whole time. They were troopers although Owen decided not to sleep much on the way home which means he got really bored. He hasn't learned "are we there yet?" but rather says "I wanna get out." On the return trip we were about 15 minutes from home when he decided Pennsylvania and Daddy were too far and he started crying "I wanna go back to Michigan!" Well thank heavnes he's not in charge.

Here we are at the park. Marcella liked the slide!

This picture is from the day the previous day. All the boys had a blast throwing rocks into lake erie.

The two-year-old swing thing.

Owen loved looking at the river, especially when the boats would go buy.

It's amazing how hard it is to get kids to smile at the same time!

Easter Egg Hunt!

Here is Owen before the big hunt...umm if can you call a few hundred eggs on the ground a hunt.

Wow, check out the cheeseer on Owen's face. Not to mention the wind blown hair effect!
It took us awhile to convince Owen to pick up the eggs. He kept looking at Jeff like "why would I want these things?" But once I opened one up and showed him the chocolate inside he picked up the pace.

Serious Moves!!!!!
Yummm, chocolate!
I'm not really sure why carebare was there, but since Owen has never had a picture with a big furry thing with who knows who underneath we decided to try for a photo. He was a little worried.

Beautiful Mareclla bella!

More Pictures

Owen and Dad feeding the deer carrots.
Owen unwrapping his candy outside the pretzel factory.

Well here are the rest of the pictures from Dad and Mom's visit. We rode the strausburg railroad. This time we got to ride "toby" for those of you who know what that means. It was a small interesting engine. It had cow catchers and everything. The other pictures are of everyone making a wonderful Indian dinner. It sure was a lot of fun!

Dad and Mom

Well I've been trying for a while and can't get anymore pictures to load. Our computer has been doing lots of funny things lately. So atleast I got one up! We had a great visit from dad and mom. We wish they could have stayed longer and can't wait to see them again. It's hard living so far away. It really made me want to move back to Utah.

TRAIN

Here are some pictures of Owen in January. His friend, Laura, gave him two babies and this is him making a train with them. He hasn't played with them much since the initial excitement wore off. I'm sure Jeff is a little glad about this. Also Owen playing with his little people. He asked me to take these pictures a few weeks ago. I had to take all these upclose pictures and it reminded me of when Jon and Greg would take pictures of their legos.

Slow and Simple

Well I know everyone wants a new post or a picture or something else to look at when they check out our blog but there just isn't anything going on here. But just for the sake of something to read: We went down to the temple on Friday and today I got set apart as the Girl's Camp Director for our ward, which I am very excited about. There are only 12 girls from our ward going, which is a lot smaller than it usually is. But I do better in small groups and can't wait to get to know the girls. And not to mention how much I like camping! And a whole week without having to wash dishes, do laundry, teach piano, and change diapers!

We can't wait for Dad and Mom to come in a few weeks, and then to meet Marcella a few weeks after that!

Kik-Step Stool

I know all viewers of this blog are ready for something new, but it was a slow, non-eventful week. Not a bad week. Sometimes non-eventful weeks are my favorite. I did a lot of little things that needed to be done. But since that's never interesting to anyone else I decided to devote this blog to Kik-Step Stools. Owen loves these things. Whenever we go to the library he has to be pushing, carrying, or standing on one of these things. It's actually really nice because I'll be looking for a book and he'll collect all the stools he can see. He'll push the squeaky things over to where I am and louldly announce their color. "Look Mom, A WHITE ONE!!!" I think people sometimes get annoyed that he rearranges them but I love it when I feel confident enough to stick with the actions of my child. He's not bothering anyone, having the time of his life, and hey their name states they're for kicking around anyway. Plus I remember LOVING these things when I was a kid too. Anyone else the same way? I think it's funny they're only found at libraries. Even the Medical School Library is loaded with them. Well if anyone wants to buy one for me (and Owen), just click on the link. I'll take red please.
