I'm okay
I didn't realize how depressing I sounded in tha last blog post. So just to set the record straight I am really happy! We've been having soo much fun! And Jeff really likes residency so far! So Jeff don't bring me any anti-depressants home because I'm really okay.

Drained
Well moving drained the life right out of me. I have this friend who I've seen through two moves and she is totally unpacked and her life is in order within 48 hours of pulling up to her new place. I think I'm more on the 48 day track, or maybe even 48 months. Yuck I hate moving. I'm jealous of people who it doesn't seem to phase. So after forever if anyone still cares, which I am sure most people don't, especially now that you have to log in, here is a blog post.
At the beginning of May we took a trip to the outerbanks, N.C. It was so much fun! I love the Atlantic Ocean and staying in a beach house with our friends was unbelievable. So here are a bunch of pictures of that trip.
We went to the Wright brothers monument where they first flew their plane.

Utah
We made it to Utah and have been busy with a few trips. Last week we camped at Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park and then went to Caroline's parent's cabin in Island Park. Tomorrow is our big move into the village! We are so excited and will post some pictures soon!

Graduation
After Mom picked us up from the airport we stopped at temple square. Owen is really into making funny faces.
The next day we went down to BYU with Owen to pick up my cap and gown and commencement tickets. It was a beautiful day and it was fun to have some time alone with Owen.
Graduation was so awesome. I just felt so overwhelmed to be there because there was a time when I honestly thought I would never graduate. I am so glad for everyone who encouraged me and helped me get there. My parents. Jeff always watching the kids and all my awesome friends out here who also took Owen when I had to finish a paper or take a test. Thanks!!
Lastly this is my favorite picture from the trip. Owen slept in Mom and Dad's closet because we had to pack and it was time to put him to bed. I remember sleeping in here so many times growing up. It is fun to see Owen experiencing the same thing.
Whirlwind
I honestly think I have taken at least 1000 pictures during the past two months. We have had so much going on! First we had Jeff's birthday and some beautiful spring days, and then we went to Utah for my graduation. I am so glad that I got to go it was incredible! Then we came home and had a quick visit from Ben and Tara and then headed off to Outer banks, N.C. for a fourth-year trip we've been planning forever. This was AMAZING!!! It was one of those trips which makes normal life seem unbearable. Well I'll start with some pictures of April. I'll refrain from putting all 1000 up...since I have a whole house to pack up.

D.C./Baltimore
We took a temple trip in March that I never got around to posting so since everyone looking at this is probably just bored wasting their time avoiding tasks such as housework you won't mind my ramblings...
When we got to the temple Owen noticed this little crocus. It was our first sighting of a flower this year. He was excited.
Waiting for Dad. While Jeff was in the temple we went for a walk around the grounds. I thought I'd show how when Owen finds a stick he likes to break off all the little twigs on the sides. Is this a sign of OCD?

So we made it to Baltimore and strolled in inner harbor and then went to the Baltimore Aquarium. It was fun but a little crowded.
We stayed overnight at the Olson's. They were great hosts....so great we imposed on them again last week when we went to the cherry blossom festival.

And the grand finale-the "Two Beths" as Grandma Hanson would say.

Popcorn PoPpiNg
Okay it was 10:00am and I was so tired. We'd talked about going down to D.C. to see the cherry blossoms since this was our last chance. We'd talk, talk, talked about it but we hadn't really decided. It was the moment of truth...we had to decide. Was it worth getting ready, 2hrs there and 2hrs back (with a baby who doesn't sleep in the car), and gas money? Well we took one look at these kiddos and decided they were happy enough. I took one look at myself...but I won't post that picture (I'd stayed up until 1am), and decided I was up for it. And Jeff said I could decide. So we were off! I called Tara right before we left and she was gung-ho and met us down there. This made it all worth it! We had so much fun. This is a must do for everyone before they die.
The weather was to die for perfect. I love the Washington Memorial in the background.
Talk about beautiful!
Matthew and Owen hit it off better than our last visit.
