5 Years...almost

Lately I've been thinking a lot about how Jeff and I are coming up on our 5 year anniversary. I can't believe it's been that long. I am girls camp director for our ward this year and when I work with the Young Women I feel like I was just there, but I know they see me as really old. It's just funny how time has changed me but I don't feel anything like I thought I would at 24! Anyway so glad I married Jeff! He is such a great husband and works so hard for our little family. I am so proud of him with only one year left in Medical School. I wish I could share more of him with all my family. He's always making Owen and me laugh, and we love just hanging out with him. Love you Jeff!

Hopefully you'll be able to share him with us when you guys come out this summer. Also, it's funny to think that in a couple of weeks Kanien and I will have been married 4 years. The more that time passes, the more it will seem like we got married really close to each other, even though right now it feels like you guys have been married a lot longer than us...especially since you've got a 2-year old. Tonight we're going to have a dinner/FHE/Barbecue at our place...Kanien and I are basically showing off our garden. I'll take pictures and post them tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for the post!!!!

Ya it is weird how it seems far apart but you're right its really not. Marcella will be 2 before you know it then you'll see little babies and realize your two year old really isn't that far apart in age from them. It's just weird how your perspective changes.

I can't believe it's almost been 5 years. When is your anniversary again? That seems so long, but we're only a year and a half behind. I still have some pictures from your shower and stuff. Did I ever give them to you?

I agree with Jon. It does seem like you guys have been married a lot longer than us, but I think it is because you were our marriage counselor during our first year. Looking back on that makes me laugh about the time Jon piped up and said "i'm not defensive!" You guys are just so much wiser than we are! :) Can't wait for you to stay with us!

I agree--time changes all perspectives. Does nine years sound like a lot to you? The difference between nine and five doesn't seem as much as the difference between five and one. I'm glad you married Jeff too! We love him and are glad we've been able to see him a lot the past couple of years!

I think Jeff needs to make a summer posting.
