I love December and Christmas, but it is always so crazy. I really start to look forward to the lazy days of January. I feel like I'm on edge trying to stay sane. Yesterday I washed Jeff's nice work pen. The pen is ruined, as are all the clothes washed with it. I had to lock myself in my room and have a good cry (unfortunately my favorite skirt was involved). Just in case you too are experiencing a crazy day here are some of Hannah's sillys.
Hannah looking at Christmas lights: "look!!! So many flashlights!"
Looking at a pair of scissors "we can't cut ourselves or we will get open"

Oh Caroline! That is so sad! I'm sorry. When I was in 6th grade I wanted a Roxy hoodie so bad!, but of course they cost around $50.00. I finally bought one, and not shortly after the 'big purchase,' I washed it with a tube of lipstick. I was so sad! I remember scrubbing and scrubbing the hoodie trying to get the lipstick out. It never came out. I totally sympathize with you.
I'm so sorry. Andy left a pen in his pocket not too long ago and ruined some of our clothes. So sad...
Pockets--great and the bane of all laundresses. Pens pock. There should be a beeper that goes off if a pen is in a pocket overnight. Sorry about this.
