Glimpses: Road Trip

Day 1 highlights:

*had to go back to get my phone

*got pulled over in Kaysville and got a ticket (boo!)

*finally pulling into Memaloose State Park after 12 hours

*our campground: train tracks, rv's, and so WINDY

*picking wild blackberries

Hannah was helping me make breakfast sausage when she said "If I was a sausage...I would just roll away! Then no one could eat me."

Finn: "Moma moma moma"

Kanien was visiting from Indiana and on our way out the door to the store Hannah said: "Kanien, did you bring your car or are we going to take the airplane?"

Babysitter: "Owen really likes legos, hu?"

C: "ya, he needs therapy."

Babysitter: "well I read this huge lego book to him and then he showed me this lego catalog where he circled all the things he wanted. Only everything was circled."

C: "hmmm"

Babysitter: "Well I don't think it's going to end soon because my brothers are 10 and 12 and they love legos."

C thinking "this therapy is going to get expensive."

O: "what's the name of this street?"

C: "1900 East."

O: "I HATE that name."

C: "?"

While driving through Yellowstone (from the back seat) we heard Hannah repeating over and over, "There are so many coconuts in this jungle!"
